Event Overview

Adieu Legal was the winning entry of the 2018 ALPMA/LexisNexis Thought Leadership Awards with their Consensus Accelerator platform.

Adieu Legal’s winning project is a collaborative divorce platform, combining artificial intelligence with family law experts to create a ‘consensus accelerator’, reaching property and financial settlements in a fraction of the traditional time.

Andrew Wight and Kathryn Manby provide an overview of Consensus Accelerator and the process taken to design and deliver this innovative platform including:
  • Starting with why: The challenge as we see it.
  • The research: What our study with 50 separating couples revealed.
  • Wicked problems: Why issues with the family law system are so damn hard to solve.
  • The Consensus Accelerator: A human-focused, tech-enabled approach.
  • Live demo: How does this actually work?
  • Trials: Integrating this approach into everyday legal practice.
