ALPMA Cancellation Policy
Cancellations for events must be made in writing to the relevant National or State Secretariats.
A refund of 50% of the registration fee for events, will be made if received in writing by the Secretariat 2 weeks prior to the event.
A forfeit of registration fees applies with less than two weeks notice of registration cancellation to the said event.
Registration can be transferred, provided any additional charges are paid at the time of transfer, i.e. member transferring to non-member. All changes are to be advised in writing to the National Office or State Secretariat.
Any refund will be made after the event.
The Australasian Legal Practice Management Association accepts no responsibility for any charges incurred by cancellation of hotel accommodation or fees, charges, fines and any insurances, loss or damage sustained by delegates in connection with the event.
ALPMA reserves the right to cancel or reschedule events as required
. A full refund will be made provided if the delegate advises in writing that they are unable to attend the event on the rescheduled date, 2 weeks prior to the rescheduled event.
registration and payment, confirmation e-mails will be sent as follows:
For single person
booking: To the nominated e-mail
address, confirmation of the events booked, including a tax invoice.
For group bookings: To the nominated e-mail
address of each of the group members, confirmation of the events booked
To the nominated e-mail
address in the group booking account, confirmation of the events booked for
each person in the group plus a tax invoice for the total payment.
For credit card
transactions, ALPMA adds security by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)
technology. This means that the credit card information you send is encrypted
by your computer, and then decrypted again on our side, preventing others from
accessing your private information in between. So, when using an SSL capable
browser, purchasing/paying on ALPMA's website is the safest kind of transaction
possible with a credit card.
Disputes or Concerns
We welcome your feedback. If you have any disputes or concerns about our policies or services provided by ALPMA, please address your concerns to the National Secretariat in writing to alpma.national @alpma.com.au . We will take all measures to address your concerns and provide a response within 2 weeks.
